OCOS Hearing: Tell City Council to End Toxic Tax Breaks!

The Our City Our Schools Coordinating Committee is lobbying City Council to end the 10-year tax abatement, as part of the OCOS coalition effort.  We're going to City Hall on December 6 to talk to Council members about ending the abatement and also to support the Fair Workweek campaign. 

At our July General Meeting, Philly DSA voted to join the Our City Our Schools Coalition and to enact an Ad-Hoc Committee to coordinate our chapter’s participation in the coalition’s fight for education justice in Philadelphia. The Philly DSA OCOS Coordinating Committee had their inaugural meeting and strategy session on Sept. 5.

We are meeting at 9:30 on the 4th floor of City Hall, outside the security entrance.
