Bernie Kickoff Canvass

In March, our chapter voted overwhelmingly to endorse Bernie Sanders because he is the only candidate in the race who will fight for our values. From Medicare for All to the Green New Deal to his recently announced plan to forgive all student debt, Bernie has consistently championed programs to build working class power and fight the massive inequality plaguing America today.

We'll be beginning our door-knocking this summer in South Philly. All levels of experience are welcome - there will be a training before you head to the doors. 

It's going to be a really fun time, but it's also an opportunity to start our work building support for Bernie's campaign in earnest. Do you know a friend who's curious about DSA? A member of your union who you've been trying to radicalize? A coworker who complains about how all politicians are crooks? Bring them! Big debates like these are one of the few times where people who don't follow politics that closely get engaged. They'll have the chance to see Bernie draw a clear contrast between our vision of a democratic society for the many and the dead-end corporate centrism for the few that his establishment opponents represent.
