The Electoral Committee handles the endorsement process for candidates running for public office. We help make decisions clear for the membership on the stakes of supporting someone, and why or why not to support an individual candidate.

We run DSA’s support campaign for the candidates chosen for endorsement by the membership.

Electoral campaigns provide a critical opportunity to articulate the politics of democratic socialism to millions of people, draw the lines of class struggle, build support for transformative reforms, and win material demands.
