We're thrilled to invite you to a special monthly Housing Committee meeting on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 6 PM at DiSilvestro Recreation Center (1701 S 15th St.). We'll be celebrating a monumental victory—saving 360 units of senior housing through Brith Sholom’s acquisition by the Philadelphia Housing Authority!

This is a huge win for our community culminating out of four years of hard work by our Housing Committee and the courage of the tenants, and we’d love to share this moment with you. Whether you’ve been involved from the beginning or are looking to check things out, please join us as we reflect on what made this win possible and as we continue to pave the long road ahead.Cake and other food will be provided, but bring your favorite party snack, drink, or dessert, and we’ll see you there!
