Join Philly DSA for a State of the Union event with Les Leopold on Labor in the Era of COVID-19. Les is the co-founder and executive director of The Labor Institute in New York, which works with unions, worker centers, and community organizations to build a national economics educational campaign. His latest book, Runaway Inequality: An Activist’s Guide to Economic Justice, is a text for that effort.

Les and Paul will be talking about the grassroots movement for occupational Health and safety, political organizing within the labor movement, and the response to COVID-19 from government and unions, all with an eye towards building a broad progressive movement for the interests of working people.
