Leadership Development Program (Session 1)

DSA is an organization of nearly 100,000 people across the country, and more than 1,000 here in Philly. That’s a lot of people power. To build a true mass organization, we need to develop the leadership and organizing skills of our many members.

This program will cover topics including our conception of power as a mass socialist organization, organizing conversations and making effective asks, campaign strategy, and several "concrete skills" like facilitating accessible meetings and public speaking – all concepts and skills central to effective organizing.

The deadline to apply is Sunday, July 3. RSVP for the location.
