This October, we will be getting out the vote while continuing to build a Medicare for All coalition in Philadelphia. Now more than ever, we need a healthcare system that prioritizes the health of working-class Americans over the profits of insurance companies and their billionaire executives! COVID-19 has left millions unemployed, uninsured, and struggling to afford necessities like rent. This crisis has been particularly hard-hitting due to our for-profit healthcare system, which withholds healthcare from those who cannot afford it. Only a publicly financed and administered system can prioritize public health, early intervention, prevention, and provide free vaccines. We need elected representatives like Rick and Liz who understand that healthcare is a human right!
A short, optional training will be offered at the beginning of the shift for anyone new to phonebanking for M4A.
