Marxism Reading Group: What is Marxism?

In our first session, we will explore the basics of Marxist theory. We'll explore Marx's infamous proclamation that the history of society is the "history of class struggles." We'll also investigate the concept of "historical materialism," exploring the understanding of class, economic forces, and politics that guided over a century of revolutionary struggle.
