Night School: Healthcare & Medicare for All

The problems facing the United States healthcare system–already a common socialist talking point–have only become more obvious with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has perhaps never been clearer that a for-profit health system not only fails to provide the best form of medicine, it endangers millions of people every single day.

Join Philly DSA on our first-ever Zoom Night School! We will be discussing Medicare 4 All, both as a solution to the ongoing state of emergency and as a potential rallying point for working class politics. The session will also explore England’s National Health Service—which has been widely discussed as a potential model for a post-COVID healthcare system—as well as the potential and pitfalls of this unprecedented historic moment.
