We're continuing our Socialism 101 series! Socialism 101 is an accessible entry point into socialist politics. It will provide a space for DSA members to work together through any confusing jargon, and provide historical context. Whether you are brand-new to political education or might be interested in a refresher on the basics, this will be a deep-dive into the fundamentals of socialist political thought.Today we'll be looking at the Paris Commune of 1871, alongside Marx's Paris Commune Address of 1872. We will also be talking a little bit about Marx the man himself, how socialists move through and look at history, and the role of socialists in political movements.
