Join DSA members for a screening of 10,000 Black Men Named George, a movie about A. Philip Randolph's efforts to organize the black porters of the Pullman Rail Company (known as the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters) in the 1920s. The Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters was the first African-American labor union to receive a charter by the American Federation of Labor. Union organizers will be joining us for the movie and a discussion afterward.
