Philly DSA Movie Night: Harlan County, USA

Join DSA members for a screening of Harlan County, USA, an Oscar-winning documentary film about the historic 1973 coal miner strikes in the rural town of Harlan County, Kentucky. The movie follows the grueling thirteen-month fight of 180 miners, their families, and the broader community against the relentless assault by the Duke Power Company. There will be a discussion after the movie on the miners' struggle against the boss and the power of the strike.
