September General Meeting

When

September 14, 2019 at 12:30pm - 3pm

Where

First Unitarian Church

At General Meetings we get together to hear reports from projects and committees, set local policy and work priorities, and to debate and vote on resolutions. The assembled membership is the ultimate decision-making body of the local, so participation is crucial.

At the September General Meeting, we will be introducing our new 2019-2021 Steering Committee. As we head into 2020 we have some big tasks ahead of us, and these will be the people guiding us through them. We’ll also introduce our 2019-2021 political platform, and think about how to start chipping away at the goals we’ve set.

The program includes:

  • Guest speech from PASNAP rank-and-file activist Marty Harrison on the fight for Hahnemann Hospital
  • Candidate interviews with WFP candidates for City Council At-Large, Kendra Brooks and Nicolas O’Rourke
  • A report on the Bernie 2020 campaign so far, and how to get involved with what is next!
