Thanksgiving Bulletin: Doing the Mayor Pete Dance With Your Uncle

In this week’s news: a strong debate performance, several national union endorsements, and (most importantly) untold volunteer hours have propelled Bernie into a tie for first in national polls; meanwhile, Philly DSA stepped up our Bernie campaign with additional weeknight canvasses (materials here if you want to learn more!) and our second biggest Bernie canvass to date in Port Richmond

We’ve got a few other big events before the year is up, including a political education talk with Anton Jäger on left populism (Wednesday, December 11), a rally for public school funding in Harrisburg with Philly DSA’s endorsed candidate Rep. Elizabeth Fiedler (Wednesday, December 18), our next Big Bernie Canvass on Saturday, December 7, and, of course, the December GM and Fundraiser (Motion to Party: Passes!). There will be carousing, a raffle, and perhaps even a visit from the Big Man himself. You won’t want to miss it!

So, come out and stick around to celebrate after. 2019’s had its ups and downs, but, if we put in the work, we’ve got High High Hopes that 2020 could be the year it all changes

December 14 General Meeting

We hope you’ll join us for the End-of-the-Year General Meeting & Fundraiser on December 14th! A draft General Meeting Agenda can be found linked on the event page. Amendments are due 12/4.

RSVP Here!

The Member Engagement Committee is still looking for Raffle items. They need new and gently used leftist books, curiosities, decorations, handcrafted items, sealed bottles of alcohol, event tickets, gift cards, etc. No item is too small. Email [email protected] for questions and to coordinate pickup. They’re also looking for volunteers for setup, bartending, selling raffle tickets, and teardown for our fundraiser. Email Mark if you can help out!
