Since October 7th, rank-and-file members of AFSCME and other unions have been organizing to demand a ceasefire in Israel/Palestine and an end to the labor movement's complicity in war and militarism. This event will provide opportunities for union members to learn about the context of the ongoing hostilities, why it should matter to them, and the role of unions in the struggle for peace and justice.

Doors/dinner at 6pm
Event starts at 7pm

This event is co-sponsored by JVP Philly, AFT 2026 and the Caucus of Working Educators. Proceeds from suggested donations at the door will support Gaza relief via AFSC and UNRWA.
