The Delco branch of Philly DSA creates campaigns and events in the Delaware County suburb of Philadelphia. Current Delco DSA local and regional initiatives include canvassing against SEPTA cuts, supporting, introducing, and defending policies at county council meetings that benefit the working class in the county, working alongside the Housing Justice Commission to help make affordable housing available for our residents, advocating for healthcare access amid Crozier hospital closures, building coalitions with other local groups such as the Quakers and similar socialist-adjacent organizations, and showing support for Swarthmore College students who were unjustly punished for protesting the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
